Coaching With Cooksey is a one-person coaching practice run by myself, Alex Cooksey. I take your privacy seriously and want to be straightforward about what information I collect, how I use it, and how I protect it.

Information I Collect

When you interact with this website or work with me as a client, I may collect:

  • Contact information, such as your name and email address, when you reach out via the contact form or email directly
  • Health and fitness information you voluntarily share for coaching purposes, such as training history, goals, and any relevant medical context
  • Payment information, processed securely through third-party platforms — I never see or store your credit card details
  • Basic website usage data, such as pages visited, to help me understand how the site is being used

How I Use Your Information

I use your information to:

  • Provide personalized coaching services and programming
  • Communicate with you about your training, questions, or scheduling
  • Process payments
  • Improve the website and client experience

I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with anyone outside of the service providers necessary to run this practice.

Third-Party Services

I use a small number of trusted tools to run this practice. These providers only receive the information they need to perform their services:

  • Payments — processed through Square
  • Email — via Gmail (Google)
  • Scheduling — via Calendly and Google Calendar

Each of these providers maintains their own privacy practices, and I encourage you to review them if you have questions.

Data Security

I take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and I can't guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information I hold about you
  • Ask me to correct or delete it
  • Opt out of any non-essential communications at any time

If I make meaningful changes to this policy, I'll update the effective date at the top of this page. I won't make changes that significantly affect your rights without making them easy to find.
